Business & Contractor Monitoring and Reporting Network

A private, verified database of businesses and contractors, with performance monitoring, customer reviews, and market intelligence support.

Program Overview

MCHUSA provides a digital program featuring a private, restricted-access database of international and Guyana-based businesses, including contractors, and the products or services they offer. The program includes business credentials, customer reviews, and performance records for contractors engaged in building and other construction projects.

The program promotes reputable businesses for business-to-business relationships by providing business intelligence, marketing, and advertising support that benefits both local and international companies. It also identifies contractors available for new construction and renovation projects.

This service is especially valuable to foreign businesses seeking local partners to market and sell their products, as well as members of the diaspora who own homes in Guyana that need repairs or land where unsafe structures must be demolished and replaced. Access to reliable information on construction costs and timelines is essential for successful project completion.

Verification & Listing

MCHUSA invites businesses and contractors to apply, verifies all submitted information, and includes only those meeting its verification standards. If credentials cannot be verified within ten (10) days, the application is declined.

MCHUSA may review any information it receives about a business's or contractor's credentials or performance and, at its sole discretion, remove them from the listing. Listing payments are non-refundable in these circumstances.

Payment

All payments are made via Mobile Money Guyana (MMG).

Monitoring & Reporting

Similar to the consulting engineer model used on large projects, MCHUSA gives owners reliable confirmation before releasing funds, especially when they cannot personally inspect the work.

Site visits and progress tracking

Personnel trained in worksite inspection and OSHA guidelines conduct site visits, take pictures, track progress, and report on performance. Professional personnel review reports and add comments and recommendations for the owner.

Owner notifications

Owners are notified of scheduled visits and pay a per-visit fee to confirm the visit and receive the report by email. Visit fee: [G$ TBD] per visit.

Customer feedback

The program monitors business and contractor performance, collects customer feedback, and verifies work progress or completion to support payment requests.

Market research and surveys

Businesses may ask MCHUSA to conduct online market surveys, including through tools such as SurveyMonkey, to gather customer feedback on products in Guyana. The program also tracks customer-submitted blog posts and makes them available for business review.
